This is Carrier's flagship thermostat, and it is designed to work seamlessly with their Infinity series HVAC systems. You can control a humidifier, you can setup dehumidification, you can setup control of fan speed, you can even setup Zone control. This is a very capable thermostat and if you have a Carrier Infinity HVAC System I would recommend getting this thermostat.
2.Sensi 2:
This is my Personal Favorite! This thermostat is compatible with almost all HVAC systems. Although this doesn't have your ABCD wiring for Infinity control it will wire to your conventual wiring R,Y,G,W,O etc. It features a simple, easy-to-use interface and programmable schedules for maximum energy savings. You can install remote wireless sensors for remote monitoring or control of your HVAC unit. You can use the app to control it when you are not home and also track energy usage to see how much your unit is running. I was able to save $800 a year by making changes to setpoint based on how much my unit was running throughout the day.
3.Nest:
While not made by Carrier, the Nest Smart Thermostat is compatible with Carrier HVAC systems through the use of conventual wiring R,Y,G,W,O etc. It features advanced programming capabilities, Wi-Fi connectivity, and compatibility with smart home systems like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. It is easy to use with a small sleek footprint that looks great.
4.Ecobee:
The New Ecobee smart thermostat with smart sensor for remote monitoring. This thermostat is similar to the Sensi 2 because you can install remote sensors. It also have remote monitoring and energy saving technology. It is also compatible with Carrier HVAC systems through the use of conventual wiring R,Y,G,W,O etc. It features advanced programming capabilities, Wi-Fi connectivity, and compatibility with smart home systems like Amazon Alexa and Siri. It also has indoor air quality monitoring for humidity control.
